My First Thoughts

My First Thoughts: 

    The first few days of this class have been intriguing. I have always been interested in how to properly edit photos and videos, yet I never knew where to start. I want to learn how to do these things because it will help me gain an edge in the field I want to go into. I have a job lined up after graduation that deals with scouting and skill development for high school and college baseball players. One skill, that I currently don't possess, that can help draw attention to these young athletes is sophisticated content creation. This class will greatly improve my ability and confidence to use the software necessary to create quality work.

Reflection

 Using both of the programs was nice because it allowed me to create the poster that I wanted to make last week. I still want to experiment more in Photoshop because there was a lot that I was confused about, but that may just be because I missed class this week. I wasn't sure if I made the image of myself bright enough although, it seemed pretty bright to me and had many shapes to fill in. I didn't want it to be so bright that the software wouldn't pick it up so I think I found a happy medium. I will definitely be using what I've learned from these projects outside of class as photoshop will be very helpful to me in my job this summer. I enjoyed doing both of the posters.
